Sindra and Brian Tie The Knot!!

Okay so this post has taken me so long to put together!! I thought I would just post a few pics so everyone could see how awesome the wedding was, just until Sindra got her professional pics back....well there were so many good ones that it took me forever to upload and organize all of them! It was an absolutly beautiful evening. Her wedding and reception were at Red Butte Gardens in SLC. Let me tell you, that is such a beautiful place. We are actually planning on going up there and doing family pics as soon as everything blooms! Anyway...Aspen and her cousins (Abbi, Kyann and Isobel) and a friend of Sindra's family (Stephanie) were all little flower girls. It was so cute to see all of them walk down the aisle together! I was so glad that Aspen behaved and actually held Isobel's hand and walked down the aisle, becuase at the rehersal she didn't want to have anything to do with it. Durring the whole ceremony Aspen was harrassing poor Isobel and Kyann....at least she was quiet, lol. The best part of the whole night was watching all the little girls dance as soon as the music started. The DJ's were so awesome! They did a ton of fun little dance activities for the girls and it was so fun to watch! It was so refreshing to watch them dance like no one was watching. I don't think there was single person in the place that wasn't grinning from ear to ear!! It was such a fun night. I left feeling overwhelmed with joy. I feel so thankful to have my wonderful husband and daughter and am excited for Sindra and Brian to start a journey of their own. Their is nothing in this life more valuable than family!! I was a total boob at the wedding and found myself overwhelmed with emotion multiple times to the point of tears....but definatly tears of happiness!!! It reminded me how in love with my husband I am and how much I love my daughter. Anyway, Enjoy the pics....there are a ton of them!!!
Sindra was a beautiful bride, poor girl, she was SOOO nervous before it started!!! :)Aspen carried this ball of flowers, Sindra said it was called a "kissing ball" I think. Well, durring the ceremony, Aspen sat and tore the thing to shreds....Justin and I were MORTIFIED!!! LOL, luckily Wendy, Brent, Sindra and Brian thought it was hilarious! The flower girls: Isobel, Aspen, Kyann, Stephanie and AbbiI was explaining to the girls the whole process of walking down the aisle and everything and they were all listening so intently! I was so proud of how awesome they all were that whole day! It was priceless to see my baby interact with these little girls who mean the world to me!After the hours of prep and going through the ceremony and pictures the girls were exhausted!!! Cheryl (Stephanie's mom) was so smart and brought a picninc for the girls. She made them pbj's w/chips and soda and cookies. The girls camped out on the floor and grubbed out! (I was so worried about them sitting on the floor in those dresses and eating pbj's on top of it!!!)Aspen was really interested in opening Sindra and Brian's presents....don't let her innocent little face fool ya....she was moments away from digging in!!!The first dance. Aspen looked at me and said, "I'm shakin' my bunz, mom!!" LOOK AT THAT FACE!!! :)

All the girls danced the night away!! Isobel danced til 11pm!

Aspen would have to hold onto her dress so that she wouldn't trip over it! It was so cute to watch her dance while remembering to hold the dress up!

Aspen getting her turn dancing with the groom.Grandma and Grandpa with the bride!!!Grandma and Claudette.....beautiful picture!!Aspen and Grandpa Roger! She is so in love with her Grandpa Roger!

Aspen and Aunt Cindy or as she calls her, Aunt Lou LouGrandma and Grandpa!
All the girls with me....I'm surprised they all still wanted to be around me after I was their drill sargent all day, lol!

My favorite pic! She is the most beautiful thing in the world to me!

This dress was just stunning on her!

Easter

Aspen was so much fun on Easter this year. She was so excited when she woke up and we told her that the Easter Bunny had been here. We told her to go downstairs and see if he had left her anything. She was so excited to see her Easter basket filled with goodies and some new golf clubs. She immediatly had to test out the golf clubs. She likes to play with her Grandpa Roger's expensive golf clubs, so we figured we would get her a little set of her own.....er...um...I mean the Easter Bunny did. She was so proud to have her own set.
After she went through her basket and played with her new toys from the Easter bunny and also some special treats from Grandma Julie, we told her that the Easter Bunny had hidden a bunch of Easter eggs in the backyard. She got so excited she wanted to put on her rain boots and go out in her pj's to look for them. (Thats where this interesting outfit she is wearing came from!) I think the Easter Bunny hid nearly 50 eggs, so we were out searching for quite a long time. In fact, we were finding eggs for almost a week after Easter.

Otis sat and watched all the craziness. After the egg hunt we had to get ready to go to Grandpa and Grandma Springer's for Easter brunch. Aspen looked so pretty all done up for Easter. Grandma Springer got aspen this cute little bucket that she can wheel around the backyard to help with the gardening. She was so excited and immediatly started filling it with dirt and bugs. After Grandma and Grandpa Springers it was off to Riverdale Park for an Easter afternoon BBQ with the Covington side of the family. We had a really good time just sitting in the sun, eating hamburgers and hotdogs and watching the kids run around and play. Aspen had a blast going on rides with Grandpa Bob and riding her bike. By the end of the day we were soooo exhausted!!! But we had a really good time!We had to stop by Grandma and Grandpa Covington's on the way home so they could give her some Easter goodies, which included some lipgloss. (which happens to be her favorite thing in the whole world.) She kept putting it on Grandma's lips and Grandma would ask, "Am I pretty?" Aspen would say, "Not yet!" It was so funny!
